About the Role
As the Head Boys/Girls Track & Field Coach at Covenant Christian High School, you will guide student-athletes both on and off the track in our Speedway, Marion County community. This full-time, on-site coaching position is ideal for a committed Christian leader who sees coaching as an extension of ministry — nurturing scholarship, leadership, and service in every athlete.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the boys' and girls' track & field program at Covenant Christian High School.
- Plan practices, meets, and training schedules that build athletic skill and competitive readiness.
- Mentor student-athletes in personal character, sportsmanship, and faith-centered living.
- Foster a team culture that reflects the school's mission of Christ-centered education.
- Model the personal and professional standards the school works to instill in its students.
Qualifications
- A strong, practicing Christian whose conduct exemplifies the values taught at Covenant Christian.
- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to motivate and develop young athletes.
- Knowledge of track & field coaching, training, and competition.
- A heart for mentoring teens toward lives of scholarship, leadership, and service.
- Availability for a full-time, in-person role based in Speedway, Marion County.
