About the Role
Working within the Food & Beverage division and reporting to the Beverage Supervisor, the Casino Cocktail Server is a key contributor to the entertainment and hospitality that define Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel. You will move throughout the casino bars and gaming areas, anticipating guest needs and serving drinks with warmth, efficiency, and a genuine sense of welcome. This is a non-exempt, part-time position with shifts that rotate across days, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests on the casino floor and take accurate beverage orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare, garnish, and deliver cocktails and drinks promptly while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Provide attentive, courteous service that enhances each guest's overall entertainment experience.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately, following resort and gaming procedures.
- Keep service stations, trays, and assigned areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift.
- Partner with bartenders, supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure smooth beverage operations.
Qualifications
- A guest-focused attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a busy casino setting and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Eligibility to obtain the required gaming badge (KeyBlue) and meet all applicable age and licensing requirements for serving alcohol.
- Prior beverage, cocktail, or hospitality service experience is a plus.
