Serco

Serco is hiring a full-time Strength & Conditioning Coach to support the U.S. Army's Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at Fort Bragg, NC — one of the nation's largest and most demanding military installations.

About the Role

As a Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC) embedded within an H2F Performance Team, you will directly shape the physical readiness and long-term health of active-duty Soldiers. This is a mission-critical position within Serco's support of the Army's H2F initiative — a comprehensive, human performance program designed to maximize Soldier lethality, resilience, and longevity. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of performance professionals at Fort Bragg to deliver evidence-based training at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and continuously refine strength and conditioning programs tailored to individual Soldier needs and unit mission requirements
  • Conduct physical performance assessments and use results to guide programming decisions
  • Deliver group and one-on-one training sessions that build strength, power, mobility, and injury resilience
  • Collaborate with H2F Performance Team members — including physical therapists, athletic trainers, and registered dietitians — to provide integrated, whole-Soldier support
  • Educate Soldiers on sound training principles, recovery strategies, and injury prevention
  • Track athlete progress and maintain accurate documentation of programs and outcomes
  • Support unit leadership in meeting Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) readiness benchmarks

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Human Performance, or a closely related field
  • Current, accredited strength and conditioning certification — NSCA-CSCS, SCCC, or equivalent
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Experience designing and delivering programming for athletes, tactical populations, or military personnel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with Soldiers of varying fitness levels and backgrounds
  • Ability to work on-site at Fort Bragg, NC and meet any installation access requirements

Through its partnership with the U.S. Army's H2F program, Serco places qualified human performance professionals on installations nationwide to directly support Soldier readiness — making this an opportunity to do meaningful work at the intersection of performance science and national defense.
