About This Position

We are seeking two part-time Group Facilitators (0.4 FTE and 0.2 FTE) for the Reclaiming Our Lives Program at hive in Mandurah. The program is a trauma-informed psychoeducational and therapeutic recovery initiative aimed at supporting women who have experienced Family and Domestic Violence (FDV). This role will be crucial in providing safe, supportive spaces that foster healing and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions for participants of the Reclaiming Our Lives Program
• Create a safe and inclusive environment where women can share their experiences and learn coping strategies
• Implement trauma-informed practices to ensure the well-being of all participants
• Collaborate with other facilitators, counselors, and program staff to enhance the overall support network for participants
• Evaluate participant progress and provide feedback to improve the program's effectiveness

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or relevant field, particularly with women who have experienced Family and Domestic Violence (FDV)
• Strong facilitation skills to guide group discussions effectively
• Experience with trauma-informed practices and methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
