About the Role
This seasonal, full-time position with City of Englewood Career centers on the hands-on upkeep of golf course grounds in Cherry Hills Village, Arapahoe County. As a Golf Course Maintenance Worker, you'll spend the majority of your day working outdoors, operating mowers and other turf equipment to support consistently excellent playing conditions. Because course care never pauses on the busiest days, weekend availability is expected of every seasonal team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of golf course maintenance tasks that keep the grounds healthy and play-ready
- Operate mowers and other course equipment safely and efficiently
- Support efforts to sustain optimal turf and playing surfaces across the property
- Perform the bulk of assigned duties outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Take on additional related duties as directed, since responsibilities may be adjusted over the season
Qualifications
- Willingness to work outside for extended periods throughout the golf season
- Availability to work weekends, as required of all seasonal employees
- Comfort operating, or willingness to learn to operate, mowers and grounds equipment
- A dependable, team-oriented approach to physical, hands-on work
