Role Overview
Menlo Circus Club is seeking a dedicated Gardener to sustain and improve the club's grounds, gardens, and landscaped areas. Working full-time on a collaborative grounds team, you'll ensure all outdoor spaces remain visually appealing, well-organized, and safe. This role is central to the club's commitment to providing an exceptional environment for its community.
Your Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and maintain gardens and landscaped beds
- Trim, prune, and shape trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain form and health
- Weed and clear garden areas and pathways regularly
- Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, and mulch as needed
- Water and irrigate plants on established schedules
- Maintain walkways and grounds for safety and appearance
- Operate hand tools and basic landscape equipment properly
- Work collaboratively with the grounds team on maintenance projects
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience in gardening, landscape maintenance, or grounds care
- Knowledge of plants suitable for Northern California and seasonal gardening practices
- Proficiency with gardening hand tools and landscape equipment
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Physical capability to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions
