Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan in Big Bend, Wisconsin. This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safe and functional facilities, ensuring the well-being of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct minor renovations and improvements as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs

What You Bring

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or a related field
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework may be preferred
