About the Role
Crestoperations is seeking a Steel Control Technician to join our team in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role involves assisting with Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) of materials between assembly teams and welding teams, ensuring smooth production processes. The ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative environment where they perform tasks such as checking critical dimensions on incoming steel, conducting quality checks on vendor products, reading blueprints/drawings, and operating machinery.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the Steel Control Lead and team members with QA/QC and kitting of materials between assembly teams and welding teams.
- Ensure that material flowing through the steel area is organized and processed in a timely manner.
- Check critical dimensions on incoming steel to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct quality checks on various vendor products as required.
- Read blueprints/drawings accurately for precise work execution.
- Operate the company’s machinery safely and efficiently.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
