FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Compass Group, North America is seeking a Food Service Worker (Full Time and Part Time) to join the team at their Bethel Heights, Washington County facility.

About the Role

This position supports daily dining operations in a healthcare setting, ensuring meals are prepared, served, and cleaned up efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation. The role offers both full‑time and part‑time schedules, with shift patterns that may include three 12‑hour days per week.

What You'll Do

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling meals according to standardized recipes.
• Set up serving lines, replenish food items, and ensure timely delivery of meals to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils by following proper washing, sanitizing, and storage procedures.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations, including temperature monitoring, proper labeling, and waste disposal protocols.
• Provide courteous service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional manner.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on operational procedures and best practices.
• Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and reporting shortages to supervisors.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a related healthcare environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive motions safely.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling portion controls.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Reliable transportation to the Bethel Heights, Washington County worksite.
