About the Role

As a Food Service Clerk, you'll play a key part in our delicatessen operations, working across the deli counter, sandwich station, and Orient Express departments. Your hands-on contributions keep our cases stocked with fresh, appealing products and ensure customers get exactly what they're looking for.

What You'll Do

• Produce and package fresh delicatessen items to company standards and health guidelines
• Merchandise products in service cases to maximize appeal and visibility
• Take guest orders at the service counter and fulfill requests with accuracy and courtesy
• Maintain clean, well-organized display cases and work areas
• Replenish inventory and manage product rotation following freshness policies and procedures
• Assist customers with product selection, recommendations, and questions
• Process transactions and handle cash or card payments when needed

What We're Looking For

• A customer-focused attitude and friendly demeanor
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation
• Reliability and willingness to work as part of a team
• Prior retail or food service experience is a plus but not required
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
