StaffedUp is hiring a full-time Shop Manager to lead our coffee shop in Columbia, Boone County. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee daily operations, build and mentor a strong team, and deliver the exceptional customer experience that keeps people coming back.

As Shop Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a thriving coffee shop location. Your leadership directly impacts profitability, team morale, and customer satisfaction. You'll balance operational excellence with genuine hospitality—managing everything from staff scheduling to financial performance while staying connected to the craft of specialty coffee service.

What You'll Do

• Lead, hire, train, and develop a team of baristas and café staff to deliver outstanding service
• Oversee daily shop operations including inventory, scheduling, cash handling, and stock management
• Maintain rigorous cleanliness and organization standards throughout the location
• Prepare and serve hand-crafted coffee drinks, specialty beverages, and food items—leading by example
• Create a welcoming customer experience that builds loyalty and drives repeat business
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing a retail or food service location
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members
• Passion for quality coffee and customer service excellence
• Comfortable with POS systems, inventory tracking, and basic financial management
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle peak service hours
