Field Superintendent – Swing Shift

Hoffman Construction Company is seeking a Field Superintendent – Swing Shift to lead operations on a high-complexity data center construction project in Claude, Armstrong County. This is a full-time, field-based leadership role where you'll manage teams and oversee all aspects of construction execution on one of the region's most demanding industrial projects.

About This Position

In this role, you'll serve as the senior on-site leader responsible for field construction management, crew oversight, and project delivery. Working a swing shift schedule, you'll report to the Project Superintendent while maintaining direct control of all assigned work scope. Your leadership will be critical to maintaining schedules, meeting quality standards, and ensuring safety across all field operations on a complex, large-scale data center construction site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field crews and coordinate construction activities across your assigned project scope
• Develop and execute construction strategies aligned with project timelines and quality requirements
• Monitor progress against schedule and budget metrics, with regular reporting to the Project Superintendent
• Establish and enforce comprehensive safety protocols and compliance standards
• Manage communication with all trades, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain workflow continuity
• Track materials, equipment, and labor allocation to optimize resource utilization
• Maintain detailed daily logs and construction records

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in field superintendent or equivalent field leadership capacity within commercial or industrial construction
• Strong understanding of construction methods, OSHA safety requirements, and quality assurance practices
• Competency reading technical drawings, contract specifications, and construction scheduling documents
• Exceptional communication and personnel management abilities
• Documented experience directing crews and supervising multi-trade construction coordination
• Valid U.S. driver's license and dependable local transportation
• Capability to maintain swing shift schedule and respond to site-specific operational demands
