Construction Manager – Mechanical Wet Systems

Hoffman Construction Company is hiring a full-time Construction Manager – Mechanical Wet Systems in Boise, Ada County, to take the lead on complex mechanical work and guide field teams from the ground up. About the Role

As the Mechanical Wet Systems Construction Manager, you will operate within our Construction Management department and report directly to the Mechanical Project Manager. The position calls for someone who can translate detailed design intent into buildable, well-coordinated work in the field, partnering daily with the people who design, fund, install, and inspect every system.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the Mechanical Team, providing day-to-day leadership for on-site mechanical operations.
• Resolve intricate mechanical coordination challenges before they become field problems.
• Collaborate closely with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and skilled craftspeople to keep wet systems on schedule and on spec.
• Serve as the field point of contact for mechanical scope, ensuring installation quality and alignment with project documents.
• Support the Mechanical Project Manager in driving the mechanical effort forward across the construction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven background in mechanical construction management, with a focus on wet systems.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and coordinate complex mechanical designs.
• Leadership experience managing a mechanical team in an active construction setting.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across design, client, subcontractor, and craft relationships.
• Comfortable working on-site in Boise, Ada County, in a full-time capacity.
