Field Service Engineer (Denver, CO)

Abbott is seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you'll provide essential technical support and equipment maintenance services to our customers across the region, ensuring their systems operate reliably and efficiently.

What This Role Involves

As a Field Service Engineer with Abbott, you'll deliver on-site technical services and customer support throughout the Denver area. This is a hands-on position that requires traveling to customer locations to install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair Abbott equipment and systems. You'll serve as the technical expert customers depend on for consistent system performance, working independently and collaborating with the broader support team to maintain high-quality service standards across your territory.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and configure Abbott equipment at customer facilities
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues using systematic troubleshooting procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend service life
• Execute repair procedures following technical documentation and company protocols
• Communicate with customers to understand requirements and explain technical solutions clearly
• Document service activities, findings, and equipment performance in company systems
• Travel throughout the Denver metropolitan area to serve multiple customer locations
• Coordinate with teammates to manage schedules and share technical insights

What You Bring

• Technical experience in equipment service, maintenance, systems support, or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
• Excellent customer communication and service orientation
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for service calls
• Physical capability to perform field work and handle equipment safely
