AAH is hiring a CNA/Healthcare Tech to support the 11L Surgical Trauma ICU at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Join us at 1000 Blythe Blvd as a full-time team member delivering compassionate, technology-enabled patient care.

Position Summary

We're seeking a certified nursing assistant with healthcare technology skills to deliver hands-on care in our 11L Surgical Trauma ICU. You'll work alongside our nursing team in a dynamic, high-acuity environment where your technical proficiency and patient care abilities directly impact recovery outcomes for surgical and trauma patients.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and repositioning in the ICU environment
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Support healthcare IT operations including electronic health records, monitoring systems, and medical equipment
• Maintain sterile and safe patient rooms following infection control standards
• Respond to patient requests and support comfort and dignity during critical recovery
• Assist nursing staff with procedures, bed changes, and patient movement

Who We're Looking For

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure or certification in progress
• Hands-on experience and comfort with healthcare technology platforms and bedside equipment
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex ICU care environments
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to assist patients and perform patient care duties
• Dedication to patient safety and evidence-based care practices
