About This Position

The CNA/Healthcare Tech role on the Cardiac Telemetry Unit supports patients undergoing continuous heart rhythm monitoring and related cardiac care. Working night shifts, you'll be part of a team dedicated to ensuring patient comfort, safety, and clinical stability. This position combines hands-on nursing assistance with basic healthcare technology responsibilities, making it ideal for someone interested in both direct patient care and clinical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen saturation
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, and comfort measures
• Support telemetry equipment operation and electrode placement under nursing supervision
• Respond promptly to patient calls and assist with mobility and positioning as needed
• Maintain clean and safe patient environments according to hospital protocols
• Document patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Communicate patient concerns and observations to nursing staff
• Transport patients and specimens as required

What We're Looking For

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while following protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment
• Physical ability to assist patients and stand for extended periods
• Comfort with basic medical technology and EHR systems
