Family Law Attorney

Orion Placement is seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney to join its practice in Seattle, King County. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients through meaningful family law matters in a collaborative legal environment where your advocacy directly shapes important life outcomes.

About the Role

You'll develop and manage a diverse docket of family law cases, combining client counseling, legal research, negotiation, and litigation. This role covers the full lifecycle of each matter—from initial client consultation through settlement, mediation, or trial—allowing you to build strong client relationships and see cases through to resolution.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in divorce proceedings, including property division, spousal support, and related claims
• Handle custody and visitation disputes, modification actions, and parental rights matters
• Manage child support cases, from establishment and enforcement through modification
• Handle legal separation matters and related family law claims
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Conduct client interviews and provide legal counsel on strategy and options
• Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for trial
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex matters

What We're Looking For

• Licensed to practice law in Washington State in good standing
• Solid experience or strong foundation in family law and domestic relations
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Proficiency in legal writing, research, and case preparation
• Dedication to client advocacy and ethical practice
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
