Family Center Intern – Ellicott City (Dancel)

About the Role

The Family Center Intern position places you at the heart of our Ellicott City operations, where you'll work closely with youth and families. Reporting to the Director and program leadership, you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality programming and services that make YMCA Central Maryland a welcoming community hub.

What You'll Do

• Directly supervise and engage children across various program activities and age groups
• Support program participants in developing skills, confidence, and positive relationships
• Collaborate with staff to ensure safe, inclusive, and enriching experiences
• Assist with program setup, implementation, and activity wrap-up
• Maintain a welcoming, supportive environment for members and guests
• Respond to participant and staff needs with professionalism and enthusiasm
