About This Position

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Backend Engineers to join our team in Auckland +1 more on a contract basis. You will be working in a hybrid model, with 3 days a week onsite at client sites, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver robust, scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud
• Experience designing and delivering high-quality backend solutions for complex projects
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• A commitment to quality and a passion for building meaningful outcomes

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Java and Spring ecosystem technologies
• Experience working on cloud-based solutions and APIs
• A deep understanding of software design patterns and best practices
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
