Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot in Duluth, Missouri. This position offers full-time employment with no remote option and relocation assistance is provided.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on geotechnical projects
- Perform site investigations and prepare detailed reports
- Design foundation systems for various project types
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and calculations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in the public sector or consulting firm
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigation techniques
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
