Entry Level Vehicle Service Specialist

Valvoline Inc is seeking an Entry Level Vehicle Service Specialist to join its team in Greenwood, Greenwood County.

About the Role

This full‑time position supports the fast‑paced service bays at a Valvoline Instant Oil Change location, where you will assist with routine maintenance tasks while learning the standards that keep customers’ vehicles running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and tire pressure inspections under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and supplies are ready for each service.
• Greet customers courteously, explain service recommendations, and answer basic questions about vehicle care.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to protect yourself, coworkers, and patrons.
• Complete required training modules and participate in on‑the‑job coaching to build technical proficiency.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent; no prior automotive experience is required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn hands‑on skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in automotive systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a busy shop environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (preferred but not mandatory).
