About the Role
As Director of Foodservice Design, you'll lead the foodservice design discipline within RF DesignStudio, our dedicated hospitality design team. You'll guide the creative and technical vision behind commercial kitchen and bar environments that integrate seamlessly with master community planning and interior design initiatives. This is your opportunity to drive design excellence across projects that transform hospitality concepts into fully operational, guest-centered experiences.
What You'll Do
- Lead foodservice design projects from concept through completion, ensuring both operational viability and exceptional guest experience
- Direct the foodservice design discipline and mentor team members across commercial kitchens, bars, and related hospitality spaces
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and community planners to integrate foodservice design into broader hospitality initiatives
- Develop design standards that balance aesthetic vision with commercial kitchen functionality and operational workflows
- Oversee coordination with building systems, regulatory codes, and operational requirements
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in foodservice design or commercial kitchen design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating hospitality projects brought to full operational completion
- Deep expertise in commercial kitchen equipment, layout, codes, and operational requirements
- Experience coordinating across design disciplines in master planning contexts
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management capabilities
