The Entry Level Engineer position with Trilongroup in Champaign, IL focuses on supporting civil, municipal, land development, and environmental engineering efforts through established approaches. Holders of the role complete designated parts of larger tasks guided by seasoned staff and partner with clients plus project leads to finish work of strong quality within set timeframes and budgets. The assignment also places every newcomer into Blueprint, a six-month early-career leadership track. That initiative delivers interactive training on professional growth, commercial understanding, and delivery practices by means of scenario reviews, practice drills, and exercises. Topics include project cost factors, clear messaging, and leadership basics, closing with an in-person showcase where participants review results and map objectives for the following period. Core Duties

• Supply civil, municipal, land development, and environmental engineering services according to standard methods
• Execute limited sections of wider assignments under direction from experienced engineers
• Employ conventional techniques for given cases, refine and link data sets, detect result variances, and complete connected procedural steps
• Coordinate with clients and firm project leaders to finish efforts at high quality, on schedule, and within cost limits
• Prepare draft reports, support creation of specifications, and propose early equipment choices
• Contact clients to obtain needed data or convey status details
• Function inside teams that include fellow engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers while strengthening leadership traits that increase independence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Recent graduation or maximum of three years related experience
• Clear spoken and written communication skills
• Solid analytical thinking and organizational habits
• Commitment to cooperative teamwork
