Position Summary

In the Production Supervisor role at Thorne in Summerville, South Carolina, you will steer the everyday activities of a designated production department while building a secure, productive, and results-oriented atmosphere and guiding frontline staff. This full-time opportunity backs growing weekend operations through 12-hour shifts that follow Friday to Sunday one week and Thursday to Sunday the next. You will drive output targets, safeguard elevated quality and safety norms, and uphold cGMP, OSHA, FDA, and company SOP rules. Success calls for firm leadership, clear judgment, a focus on ongoing betterment, and the talent to encourage crews within rapid manufacturing settings.

Core Duties

• Guide daily department functions, cultivate high-output teams, hit production marks, and sustain quality plus safety excellence across assigned areas
• Ensure full compliance with cGMP, OSHA, FDA, and internal SOPs during all shifts
• In mixing: direct exact weighing, combining, and setup of raw materials for nutritional supplements while verifying quality, machine readiness, and tight process controls
• In sanitation: manage cleaning and sanitizing of equipment along with production spaces to keep conditions safe and compliant, confirming procedures, records, chemical practices, and hygiene match FDA, cGMP, and company rules
• In encapsulation: supervise machines that form finished capsules from blended mixes with stress on machine output, item quality, volume, and specification fidelity
• In packaging: direct finishing steps so products receive correct labels, seals, checks, and prep for shipping while advancing speed, quality, regulatory alignment, and schedule adherence
