Entry Level Engineer

Position Summary

As an Entry Level Engineer based in Aurora, Illinois, you will support civil, municipal, land development, and environmental engineering assignments using established procedures. You will complete defined segments of larger projects guided by senior staff, apply standard techniques, adjust and correlate data, identify inconsistencies, and follow structured office workflows. You will partner with clients and project managers to help deliver quality work on schedule and within budget. The position includes a guaranteed place in Blueprint, a six-month early-career leadership program that builds professional skills, business understanding, and project delivery capability through case studies, simulations, role-play, and an in-person capstone where participants present results and set forward goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide civil, municipal, land development, and/or environmental engineering support using standard methods
• Complete limited, well-defined portions of broader engineering assignments
• Reconcile data, recognize result discrepancies, and follow multi-step office procedures
• Draft reports, assist with project specifications, and recommend preliminary equipment selections
• Coordinate with clients to collect and share project information
• Collaborate daily with staff engineers, project engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers
• Strengthen leadership habits and progressive independence inside a team environment

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Recent graduates or candidates with up to three years of related experience
• Clear spoken and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational capability
• Reliable team orientation and a drive to learn across varied project types
