Position Summary

The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing direct and/or indirect nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves planning and initiating nursing activities as part of a comprehensive patient care regime.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in emergency/casualty settings
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures under supervision
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities
• Participate in team meetings and other hospital operations as required
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to patient safety and quality care

Qualifications

• National Certificate in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Valid Enrolled Nurse registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Previous experience in emergency/casualty settings is advantageous but not mandatory
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues
