About the Role
As an ENL (ML) Teacher at Kitley Intermediate School, you will help English Language learners build the language proficiency and academic confidence they need to thrive. Reporting to the Kitley Intermediate building leadership, this elementary-level (K-5) position focuses on multilingual students in grades 4-6 and is anticipated to begin on July 29, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver English as a New Language (ENL/ML) instruction tailored to the needs of multilingual learners in grades 4-6.
- Assess language development and adapt lessons to meet a range of proficiency levels.
- Partner with classroom teachers to integrate language support across core subjects.
- Track student progress and maintain documentation in line with state and district expectations for English Language services.
- Build supportive relationships with students and families to encourage engagement and growth.
Qualifications
- Valid ENL (English as a New Language) licensure is required.
- Eligibility to teach at the elementary (K-5) level.
- A commitment to serving multilingual learners in an intermediate-grade setting.
