This full-time position supports Buckeye Career’s mission to maintain and upgrade critical infrastructure that transports energy resources across the region.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on pumps, valves, conveyors, and other mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering staff to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and service histories in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree in mechanical technology preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanical technician, maintenance mechanic, or similar role in an industrial or logistics setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a commitment to preventive maintenance practices.
• Effective communication abilities and the flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional overtime.
