The Opportunity

BAE Systems Inc, Space and Mission Systems (SMS) is seeking a talented and motivated Payload Systems Performance Analyst with expertise in payload performance characterization and imagery analysis to support the development, evaluation, and operational assessment of advanced remote sensing and electro-optical (EO) systems. This role focuses on ensuring that our EO payloads meet or exceed performance requirements through rigorous testing, data analysis, and system integration.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed performance characterization of EO payloads to ensure they meet mission objectives.
- Analyze imagery data from various sensors to assess payload performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development and testing phases by providing technical expertise in payload performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and program managers, to ensure seamless integration of payloads into larger systems.
