Employee Benefits Producer

Insurica is hiring a full-time Employee Benefits Producer to join its team in Willowbrook, Houston — a compelling opportunity for a driven sales professional ready to grow and manage a meaningful book of group benefits business.

About the Role

As an Employee Benefits Producer at Insurica, you will own the full sales cycle for employer-sponsored group insurance — from prospecting and pipeline development through closing, onboarding, and long-term client retention. Your primary focus will be employers with 20 or more covered employees, positioning you to build lasting partnerships with mid-sized businesses across the greater Houston market.

What You'll Do

• Actively prospect and develop new employer group accounts through direct outreach, referrals, networking, and community engagement
• Build and maintain a growing book of group insurance business, with accountability for retention and revenue targets
• Conduct needs analyses and present tailored employee benefits solutions to HR leaders, CFOs, and business owners
• Manage the full renewal process — benchmarking, carrier negotiations, and plan recommendations — to maximize client satisfaction and policy retention
• Collaborate with Insurica's account management and service teams to deliver a seamless client experience post-sale
• Leverage the proprietary tools, carrier relationships, and internal resources available through Insurica to sharpen your competitive edge
• Stay current on group health, dental, vision, life, and ancillary product lines, as well as relevant regulatory requirements such as ACA and ERISA

What We're Looking For

• An active Texas Life & Health insurance license (or the ability to obtain one promptly)
• Demonstrated success in employee benefits sales or a closely related insurance/financial services sales role
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build trust at the decision-maker level
• Self-motivated approach to prospecting and pipeline management — you thrive without a leads list handed to you
• Solid understanding of group benefits products, underwriting concepts, and the employer market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to both executive and HR audiences
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard business productivity tools
