About This Position

This full-time position involves testing, inspecting, and validating electrical equipment and systems during the commissioning phase of active projects. You'll work at field locations throughout the greater Austin area, ensuring that all electrical installations meet design specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements before operational handoff. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning test procedures on electrical systems, controls, and equipment
• Perform quality control audits to verify installation integrity and specification adherence
• Record test findings, measurements, and corrective actions in comprehensive technical documentation
• Identify and escalate system discrepancies or performance gaps to engineering and operations leadership
• Validate electrical safety systems and confirm compliance with applicable codes and industry standards
• Diagnose electrical components and circuits to resolve commissioning issues
