About the Role
As a Service Technician at SouthernCarlson, you're the trusted expert customers rely on to keep their pneumatic equipment operational. You'll own the entire service process—troubleshooting problems, executing repairs, training users on proper operation and maintenance, and documenting everything so customers leave satisfied and informed.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform repairs on nail guns, staple guns, and related pneumatic tools
- Provide training to customers on equipment operation and routine maintenance procedures
- Fulfill customer repair orders promptly and accurately
- Complete and submit work orders, parts requisitions, timesheets, and all necessary service documentation
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction with every interaction
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience repairing pneumatic tools, power equipment, or similar mechanical devices
- Customer service skills and genuine interest in helping clients succeed with their equipment
- Ability to manage multiple customer orders and prioritize effectively
- Comfort with technical documentation and record-keeping
- Willingness to teach customers and explain technical concepts clearly
