As an Electric Transmission/Renewable Energy Project Manager at Stantec, you'll take ownership of projects that strengthen North America's transmission and renewable energy infrastructure. What You'll Do
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver results on time and within scope
- Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders
- Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing transmission systems and renewable energy installations
- Ensure consistent adherence to quality and safety standards across all project phases
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum
- Lead project teams, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative working environment
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status reports to leadership
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or related field
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, construction, or energy sector projects
- Strong understanding of transmission systems, renewable energy development, or similar technical domains
- Proven track record of managing schedules, finances, and stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge of energy sector regulatory requirements and permitting procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities
- Proficiency with project management software and technical tools
- Professional engineer (PE) license or pursuit of licensure preferred
