About This Position
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic educators to join our team at St Peter’s Outside School Hours Care in Caboolture. Established since 1990, this OSHC operates from a dedicated space on the school grounds and provides before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 135 children.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality educational programs that support the holistic development of children aged 4-12 years
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
- Plan and implement engaging activities to promote learning and social interaction
- Collaborate with parents and school staff to ensure seamless transitions and consistent care
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Centacare and the Department of Education
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or higher qualification in early childhood education
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting
- A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young learners
