Upcoresolutions is hiring an Experienced Diesel Technician for a full-time, first-shift position in Sheboygan, Sheboygan County. Working Monday through Friday with no weekends or nights, you'll diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles to the highest service standards.
What This Role Involves
In this Experienced Diesel Technician role, you'll perform comprehensive repair and diagnostic work on diesel engines and vehicle systems. You'll take ownership of repair orders, work independently to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems, and ensure every job meets strict dealership and factory standards. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential to delivering reliable results for customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Complete repair and maintenance tasks according to repair orders with precision and efficiency, maintaining dealership and factory standards
- Identify and diagnose vehicle mechanical problems using customer input, hands-on inspection, and diagnostic tools
- Execute repairs on diesel engines and related systems following established procedures and specifications
- Document work performed and communicate progress and findings to management and customers
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or in diesel engine repair
- Working knowledge of diesel engine systems, diagnostics, and repair methods
- Ability to interpret repair procedures, technical manuals, and service documentation
- Proficiency with shop equipment and diagnostic tools
- Commitment to accuracy, safety, and professional workmanship
