Designer, Men’s Footwear & Accessories

Join Rag & Bone as a Designer, Men's Footwear & Accessories in our Prince, Manhattan location. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead the creative vision and product evolution of our men's footwear collection and expanding accessories line.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Men's Design, you'll drive the aesthetic and functionality of our men's footwear and accessories categories. This is a hands-on design role where you'll shape product strategy, translate market trends into compelling designs, and collaborate across teams to bring concepts from sketch to shelf.

What You'll Do

• Conceive and develop original footwear designs that align with Rag & Bone's brand identity and market positioning
• Design and oversee development of men's accessories—belts, bags, small leather goods, and seasonal pieces—within the footwear collection
• Conduct trend research and competitive analysis to inform seasonal collections
• Create detailed design specifications, technical drawings, and mood boards for product teams
• Collaborate with sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure designs translate accurately to finished products
• Develop silhouettes, material selections, and colorways that meet both aesthetic and performance standards
• Participate in design reviews and present concepts to leadership and stakeholders
• Manage design timelines and deliverables to support seasonal product launches

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional design experience in footwear, accessories, or related product categories
• Proficiency in design software (Rhino, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools)
• Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing original footwear and accessory design work
• Ability to translate brand vision into cohesive product narratives
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality in every design decision
