About the Role
As a Dental Hygienist with Metro Dentalcare in Woodbury, Washington County, you'll deliver exceptional preventive care while building meaningful relationships with patients. This part-time position offers Wednesday and Thursday availability, with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, giving you schedule flexibility while serving a growing patient base.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including oral health examinations, charting, and risk evaluation
- Provide thorough professional cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance
- Educate patients on preventive care techniques, oral hygiene best practices, and disease prevention
- Take and process dental radiographs and digital imaging
- Collaborate with dentists and the clinical team to develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver a welcoming, comfortable experience that keeps patients engaged in their dental health
What We're Looking For
- Current Dental Hygiene license or certification (RDH or equivalent for Washington state)
- Proven experience in clinical preventive dentistry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
