Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LPN – Trach/Vent Child

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time private duty nursing position in Sebring, serving pediatric patients with complex medical needs.

About the Role

This is a part-time position providing specialized in-home nursing care for children requiring tracheostomy and ventilator support. You'll work flexible shift schedules, choosing between daytime or evening availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) or Friday overnight hours (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care to pediatric clients with high acuity needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator management
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient condition, and communicate clinical changes to supervising physicians
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established care protocols
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient care, medical observations, and treatment responses in medical records
• Partner with the care team and families to support continuity of treatment and patient well-being

What We're Looking For

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing
• Demonstrated experience caring for pediatric patients with high acuity conditions, particularly trach and vent management
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team
• Reliable transportation to serve the Sebring area
• Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care
