Headquartered in Austin, Texas, it ranks among the world’s largest companies by market cap (ticker ORCL) and reports roughly 135,000 employees. Beyond databases and enterprise software, Oracle builds and runs cloud infrastructure—including large data-center campuses—so construction QA/QC sits close to how capacity actually comes online.

About this role & career path
QA/QC on hyperscale-style data-center construction builds transferable skill in MEP, structural, and commissioning readiness. Strong performers often move into senior QC, construction management, or owner’s-rep roles across cloud and industrial builds.
Build the skills for this role
Prioritize construction QA plans, ITP/checklists, RFI/submittal literacy, and clear photo/log discipline. Add data-center basics (power paths, cooling, raised floor/white space readiness) and safety culture on live sites. No specific cert list or costs were provided in the source data.
Be ready with examples of catching defects early, enforcing specs under schedule pressure, and documenting nonconformances to closure. Expect scenario questions on trade interfaces, punch lists, and how you keep quality independent when delivery is urgent.

Best fit if you like field presence, rigorous standards, and construction quality on large technical facilities—not pure desk QA. Oracle’s scale means process, documentation, and consistency matter as much as technical eye.
