About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data center construction and be able to manage budgets, cost estimates, and project controls effectively.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost forecasts for projects
- Review and analyze project costs to ensure they are within budget
- Develop and implement cost management strategies and procedures
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to control project costs
- Provide financial analysis for project proposals and bids
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center construction or related field
- Proven track record in cost management, budgeting, and project controls
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes
- Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools
- PMP or similar certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
