This Senior Quantity Surveyor & Cost Controller opportunity with Scorpios places you at the heart of financial control processes for operations in Athens & Mykonos, Paraga. As a full-time team member, you will apply advanced knowledge of quantity surveying principles to maintain budgetary integrity and support efficient resource allocation throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine cost estimates and detailed budgets based on project scopes
• Track expenditures in real time and implement adjustments to keep projects within financial parameters
• Perform precise quantity measurements and preparations of bills of quantities
• Evaluate and negotiate variations, claims, and additional works with contractors
• Generate comprehensive cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and progress valuations
• Recommend cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities
• Ensure compliance with contractual cost provisions and industry standards
• Coordinate closely with internal teams and external parties on all cost-related matters

Who We're Looking For

• Substantial experience in senior quantity surveying and cost control roles
• In-depth understanding of construction economics, tendering processes, and cost management techniques
• Competence with specialised software tools for estimating, measurement, and cost tracking
• Outstanding numerical, organisational, and interpersonal abilities
• A degree or equivalent professional qualification in quantity surveying, building economics, or a comparable discipline
• Willingness to operate across the Athens and Mykonos, Paraga locations as required for the Senior Quantity Surveyor & Cost Controller position
