Data Center Construction Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)

Oracle · Cedar, Cole County

How to use this kit

Ground every answer in facts on this page and the original listing. We never invent Glassdoor-style reviews or salaries that are not in our data.

Interview prep

Be ready with examples of catching defects early, enforcing specs under schedule pressure, and documenting nonconformances to closure. Expect scenario questions on trade interfaces, punch lists, and how you keep quality independent when delivery is urgent.

Fit summary

Best fit if you like field presence, rigorous standards, and construction quality on large technical facilities—not pure desk QA. Oracle’s scale means process, documentation, and consistency matter as much as technical eye.

Day in the role

On Oracle data-center builds you would walk active packages, check work against drawings and specs, log deficiencies, and clear rework before turnover. Days mix field inspections, material and install verification, coordination with GCs and trades, and tight documentation so rooms, power, cooling, and life-safety systems meet Oracle’s quality bar before handoff.

Skills to emphasize

Prioritize construction QA plans, ITP/checklists, RFI/submittal literacy, and clear photo/log discipline. Add data-center basics (power paths, cooling, raised floor/white space readiness) and safety culture on live sites. No specific cert list or costs were provided in the source data.
