Role Overview

The Course Lead for the Bachelor of Nursing program at Holmesglen Institute is a pivotal role within an established and respected academic environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the development and delivery of high-quality nursing education using world-class simulation facilities located in Moorabbin and Chadstone campuses.

Core Duties

• Liaise with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and up-to-date content
• Develop, implement, and maintain academic programs that meet the needs of students and industry standards
• Oversee the delivery of lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in a hands-on learning environment
• Evaluate student performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Collaborate with other academic staff to foster a supportive and inclusive learning community
• Ensure compliance with all institutional policies and procedures related to teaching and learning

Qualifications

• A relevant postgraduate degree in Nursing or a closely related field (e.g., Education, Curriculum Development)
• Demonstrated experience as an academic leader or senior lecturer in the nursing discipline

• Experience with curriculum development and assessment design for higher education programs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and industry partners
