The Opportunity
Zenith Energy is a market-leading independent power producer that builds, owns, and operates power stations across Western Australia and the Northern Territory. We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts and Procurement Manager to join our team on a part-time basis in the Perth CBD area.
What You'll Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to support business objectives
- Managing the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and closure
- Negotiating terms and conditions of supplier agreements
- Ensuring timely delivery of projects by managing suppliers and vendors
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans for procurement activities
Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in contracts and procurement management within the energy sector
- Proven track record in managing complex projects and delivering results on time
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with contract law, procurement processes, and supply chain management
- Experience in remote locations would be advantageous but not mandatory
