About the Role
Reporting into operations leadership, the Continuous Improvement Manager spearheads efficiency, cost-reduction, and process-optimization programs across Daniels Health plants and transfer stations nationwide. Based from a home office, you will travel roughly 50% of the time to work shoulder-to-shoulder with regional and site teams, as well as local and national Maintenance and Engineering groups, applying Lean, industrial engineering, and structured problem-solving to lift productivity, safety, quality, and cost performance.

- Pinpoint and execute improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost across processing plants and transfer stations
- Coach and upskill cross-functional teams in root-cause tools such as PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis
- Engage everyone from frontline crews to senior leaders in ideation, testing, and full-scale rollout of solutions
- Grow internal CI champions and sustainment systems that keep gains in place long-term
- Support automation, process redesign, and infrastructure projects that raise throughput and reliability (OEE)
- Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to cut downtime and improve asset utilization
- Champion data-driven, evidence-based decision-making as the standard for every initiative
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience with a strong quality/production background in food & beverage or CPG settings
- Minimum 5 years in continuous improvement, process engineering, or operational excellence within manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience and proven use of PDCA, DMAIC, DFSS, or 8D
- Track record of loss-elimination projects delivering documented cost savings across multi-site or regional operations
- Strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills, comfortable with hands-on plant work
- Nice to have: healthcare, environmental services, or regulated-industry exposure; ERP and analytics tools such as SAP, Power BI, or Tableau
