Daniels Health is hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager to advance operational excellence across our U.S. medical waste processing network — a hands-on leadership role for an operations professional in the United States who turns Lean theory into measurable results. About the Role Reporting into operations leadership, the Continuous Improvement Manager spearheads efficiency, cost-reduction, and process-optimization programs across Daniels Health plants and transfer stations nationwide. Based from a home office, you will travel roughly 50% of the time to work shoulder-to-shoulder with regional and site teams, as well as local and national Maintenance and Engineering groups, applying Lean, industrial engineering, and structured problem-solving to lift productivity, safety, quality, and cost performance. Key Responsibilities Deploy Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance, and structured methodologies to remove waste and unlock measurable savings Pinpoint and execute improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost across processing plants and transfer stations Coach and upskill cross-functional teams in root-cause tools such as PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis Engage everyone from frontline crews to senior leaders in ideation, testing, and full-scale rollout of solutions Grow internal CI champions and sustainment systems that keep gains in place long-term Support automation, process redesign, and infrastructure projects that raise throughput and reliability (OEE) Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to cut downtime and improve asset utilization Champion data-driven, evidence-based decision-making as the standard for every initiative Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience with a strong quality/production background in food & beverage or CPG settings Minimum 5 years in continuous improvement, process engineering, or operational excellence within manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience and proven use of PDCA, DMAIC, DFSS, or 8D Track record of loss-elimination projects delivering documented cost savings across multi-site or regional operations Strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills, comfortable with hands-on plant work Nice to have: healthcare, environmental services, or regulated-industry exposure; ERP and analytics tools such as SAP, Power BI, or Tableau About Daniels Health For more than two decades, Daniels Health has led medical waste management with a closed-loop system…
