Consultant – Financial Services

Sia is seeking a full-time Consultant in Financial Services for a remote role based in New York, NY. You'll work directly with banking and financial services clients to solve complex business challenges and drive strategic impact.

Role Overview

As a Consultant - Financial Services at Sia, you combine analytical rigor with strategic thinking to identify market opportunities, streamline operations, and enhance financial performance across the banking and financial services sector. Key Responsibilities

• Assess client financial performance, operations, and competitive positioning to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
• Develop data-driven recommendations on banking strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation
• Lead client engagements and project workstreams, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on financial services strategy
• Conduct research and market analysis on banking trends, fintech innovation, and competitive dynamics
• Present findings and recommendations to senior client executives and internal leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in financial services consulting, investment banking, commercial finance, or related advisory roles
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to distill complex financial concepts for diverse audiences
• Solid understanding of banking operations, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks
• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and concurrent projects
