WECARETN seeks a Community Liaison/Outreach Specialist to strengthen community relationships and program participation in Hickory Hill, Shelby County. This part-time position (minimum 25 hours weekly, $18–$20 per hour, exempt status) offers a meaningful opportunity to connect our organization with the residents and community partners we serve.
About the Role
As our Community Liaison/Outreach Specialist, you'll be the essential bridge between WECARETN and Hickory Hill. Your focus will be building genuine connections, ensuring residents know about our programs and services, encouraging meaningful participation, and making sure our resources reach those who need them most. You'll represent our organization with professionalism and authenticity in every interaction, becoming a trusted presence in the community.
What You'll Do
- Build and sustain meaningful relationships with community members, neighborhood leaders, and partner organizations
- Promote WECARETN's programs and services to raise awareness and drive participation
- Support community-based outreach activities and program implementation efforts
- Gather and communicate community feedback to inform and strengthen our work
- Represent WECARETN professionally and positively in all community settings and events
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure our resources are deployed effectively throughout the community
