Commercial Lines Account Manager position available at gpac in Minnesota (statewide). We're seeking a full-time, detail-oriented professional to manage and service a mid-market portfolio of commercial accounts in our Elm Grove office location.

About the Role

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for our growing portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This hands-on position combines relationship management, policy servicing, and operational excellence. You'll work in-office to ensure each client receives responsive, accurate service throughout their policy lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned commercial accounts, handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy details
  • Coordinate with underwriters, carriers, and internal team members to resolve issues and expedite transactions
  • Maintain organized, compliant client files and update agency management systems with account activity
  • Build and strengthen client relationships through consistent communication and problem-solving to support retention
  • Process routine administrative tasks including document preparation and policy administration
  • Support business development by identifying renewal opportunities and assisting with new client onboarding

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in commercial lines insurance account management or related customer service roles
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Familiarity with insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in handling policies and client information
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
