About the Role

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager focused on Middle Market accounts, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for commercial clients across the Merrillville, Lake County area. Working alongside a collaborative, entrepreneurial team, you'll manage the day-to-day service needs of an established book of business while supporting growth, retention, and tailored risk solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of middle market commercial lines accounts from renewal through year-round support.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, carriers, and producers to resolve coverage questions and service requests.
• Review policies, endorsements, and contracts to ensure accuracy and appropriate coverage.
• Help clients evaluate exposures and develop insurance programs suited to their specific business needs.
• Prepare proposals, renewals, and documentation while maintaining accurate account records.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial lines account management, ideally within the middle market space.
• A valid property and casualty insurance license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, carrier relationships, and servicing workflows.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client-service skills.
• Comfort working on-site in Merrillville, Lake County in a full-time capacity.
